A Day in the Life - Day 20

Another good day today - love those :)  Went directly from work to the gym for spin class.  Climbing, climbing, climbing, time trials, climbing, time trials..or and more climbing.  Kick your a** workout!

My plan for this weekend is to clean this room!! I mean really - what chaos!

Sean got his much anticipated wheels for the project Toyo and he is beyond excited!

A Day in the Life - Day 19

Monday after a holiday - work feels like a break!  Whew.... what a whirlwind last few weeks.  I'm sad Christmas is over, but glad 2011 is almost here and we can all be on to bigger and better things.  2011 is the year of self discovery for me and I'm excited to start the trip!  I wonder who I will find??  :)

Today was a great day - work, party planning, shopping and workout to round it out.  AND, I'm back to my normal eating patterns - no Christmas goodies and candy (ok, a little candy) and I feel better already.

A Day in the Life - Days 11 & 12

Saturday was Girls Xmas brunch day.  Ms. Tara hosted in her cuter than cute townhouse.  3 mimosas, brunch and cheesecake later we are all stuffed and playing Scattegories.  Woo-Hoo.....I didn't win.

Sunday was COOKIE MAKING DAY!!  Yes - this day deserves all caps - it's that good.  Mom and I made no less than 5 million cookies and only ate about 3 (plus taste testing of course).  Everything turned out super yummy - and no blood was shed. Score!!

It was snowing at the top of Sylan on the way home, so like any normal person, I had to find an empty parking lot and do donuts! Yehaw!

A Day in the Life - Day 10

More eating today, more glutton.  Sigh......well I'm starting the diet for sure tomorrow.......right after the Xmas brunch....yep - tomorrow afternoon for sure.
Thought I was done Christmas shopping today then was reminded about a few more people I rarely see, so its more mall madness for me!! BUT, I am done with wrapping for now and people, that is half the battle.

I also got to dog wrestle today with Lewis - the 4 month old may have one this one, but tomorrow is another day.

A Day in the Life - Day 8 and 9

Day 8 - trojan virus, bloody noses and nachos.  One of these things is not like the other.....

Day 9 - Hi ho hi ho, work is crazy yo!  But, my computer regained its composure so we can get along again.  We got Famous Daves delivered for lunch and I ate my weight (whoa) in brisket and ribs.  Then I had the most delicious date cookie made by Mom.  Wow - I mean can there by any more food at the office?? Oh yes - pancake breakfast for foster kids tomorrow. 

While I was jumping around at bodycombat today, I noticed more bulge than normal, so hi ho off on a diet we go....again.  Damnit.

Today, Today what can I say?  Man, I love rhyming on this blog!  Even though I was a *tad* bit dare I say (bitchy) shhhhh!! today, it was still a good Tuesday. 
Today I tried my first spin class.  Let's just tone my feelings about it to read FANTASTIC!!  Dear Bikeseat, get ready to see my butt on you a lot more in the future

A Day in the LIfe - Day 5

Up and at 'em at 6 am today to head to the Addidas campus for the Holiday half and 5K.  6am on a Sunday should not even exist - nobody should be allowed to get up that early. 

Had a great race - came in at 36 minutes. 

We all had a splendid time and ate a much deserved breakfast at Besaws after the race.  oh yum!

PMCA Dinner at the Benson (fancy pants) was fun with co-workers and friends.  Great food and atmosphere.

Oh Friday, how I love thee - the gateway to the weekend, a day where everyone is happy because they know the next two days are without alarm clocks or urgent dead lines.  Oh Friday, you are adored :)

Today I got to unintentially sleep-in and hit the ground running at mock 10.  Proposals, meeting times and mock-ups to be completed.  hurry hurry!!  But, like I said, it's..ahhhhh friday.

I found these adorable buttons yesterday!  I'm using them in a Christmas project and couldn't help but share my find with you.  Don't you just love them??  I know! Me to!!

Dinner tonight at our favorite place with one of our most favorite friends.  We like to call this place Chez Bazinga - don't ask, but they have fabulous food and their beer selections is none to shabby.

Day in the Life - Day Two

Thursday Thursday, what can I say about you?  Well, you brought rain, proposals, Christmas crack, Craft Warehouse oh and rain.  Did I mention it rained today?  Well, it did.

This is the office lovely ladies enjoying our Christmas Crack (aka Toffee).  It's amazing, and the pound I gained to today can attest to that. 

Guess what this is???? Did you get it??  OK, you can stop trying, unless HVAC is your passion, it's a whole lotta metal.  hehehe!  I got to go on  job walk today to take some pics of an office building we are almost completed with.  It was actually pretty interesting and I hope to go on more as I move into the construction department.
Now I return to wrapping presents..maybe one is for you!

A Day in Life - Day 1

Well, it's day one.  Feel like I should make something up so it's really exciting - let's just say I foiled an international terror plot and then I went home and baked pies for the homeless.

OK OK, the real truth (like most days) is I went to work, went to the gym, came home and did chores..ahh the life of a celebrity :)

Got my butt kicked at the gym today!  It was awesome!

Here's the mister admiring his project in the works.  Project Yoda Taco is almost complete and then we can get to fun part - WHEELIN!!!
